Meet Kristin Stringfellow

(she/her)

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist #140422

“I strive to build strong relationships with my clients and help them to find peace in the present moment. When we can slow down and allow our emotions to be present, even our most painful ones, we can begin to understand what they might be trying to tell us and learn to practice self-compassion.”

AREAS OF FOCUS

Anxiety / Depression / LGBTQ+ / Life Transitions / Relationships / Sleep Issues / Substance Use & Addiction

THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

I take a holistic approach to therapy that integrates attachment theory, mindfulness, and the mind-body connection. My work is emotionally focused to support individuals and couples who are seeking relief and growth, as well as their own answers to both practical and existential issues.

I enjoy incorporating art, music, creative journaling, and movement into therapy. This can help us find new perspectives and new, better ways of coping with stressors.
